Built at Burntisland , Firth of Forth Scotland in 1955. My claim to fame was I lived on the black prince with my family for 8 weeks over the summer of 1968. My friends grandfather by some coincidence built the mode of the Black Prince in the late 1980's and I acquired it recently.
DMBC Dundee Model Boat Club 1885
The club was formed on the 20th April 1885 at the Coffee House, Candle Lane, Dundee for the “furtherance of the recreation of all aspects of Model Boating.” The club is therefore one of the oldest in Scotland and amongst the oldest in Britain. The club meets at the Stobswell ponds on Tuesday evenings from 6.00pm and Sunday afternoons from 12.00 midday.

Britannia and the QE2
The club store and occasionally use aluminum models of RY Britannia and the QE2 which were both made by Finlay a late member of the club. The models will be used on club steering and docking days for towing and to make the dock look good.
